Data Management – from input to insight
Effective data management begins with a solid foundation for data collection and integration. We work with various data sources and formats to ensure that information flows smoothly through the entire system – from collection to analysis.
1. Data input – from APIs, ERP, Excel, PDF, and SSIS packages
We collect data from both external and internal sources:
- API integrations: Real-time data from third-party systems such as financial platforms, CRMs, or IoT devices.
- SSIS packages: Automated import from flat files, Excel, databases, and other systems with validated and structured data flow.
2. Data storage in SQL databases
The collected data is centrally stored in SQL Server databases, ensuring:
- Schema-based data architecture
- Standardized formats and data types
- Version control and data logging
3. Data processing and transformation
Once stored, the data is processed and enriched:
- Calculations: KPIs, weightings, and performance metrics based on business rules
- Data joins and transformation: For example, combining financial data with market data
- Advanced computation: Using SQL, Python, or R depending on complexity
4. Consolidation and analysis
The processed data is combined and structured for:
- Reporting via Power BI, Excel, or PDF
- Business analysis and decision support
- Further integration with BI tools and external systems
